Remy reveals Hazard is lazy in training but in great form
Former Chelsea striker Loic Remy has described former team-mate Eden Hazard as a “lazy” player who trains but performs brilliantly in the ยูฟ่าเบท game.
Remy spent three years at Stamford Bridge but failed to make an impact, scoring just eight goals in 32 Premier League games. He said he could not believe how lazy Hazard was when he first started training, but his performances were impressive.
“I think about my time at Chelsea and the first player I always think of is Eden Hazard,” Remy told Ladbrokes. “He was an incredible man. I was surrounded by great players, champions, experienced players like John Terry and Didier Drogba.
“So I always remind myself in the first two or three weeks that I deserve to be here. To be honest, I didn’t go there by chance. I want to learn from them every day. That’s my main goal. But then you have the magician Eden Hazard in his prime. He impressed me a lot. He was fast and strong.”
“My first game for Chelsea was at Stamford Bridge. And I remember the week before the game Eden was very bad in training, losing the ball, not defending. It was like he was playing with his friends on the street.”
” I know him well from Ligue 1, so after a few training sessions. Seriously?’ He said, ‘Listen, this weekend you will find out who the boss is.'”
“The weekend came, we played at home, I was on the bench. Aware of everything because it was the first time I was involved with the team on a matchday. The game started and I saw him receive the ball. It was scary, it was like he was playing with a child, it was so easy for him. I came on with 20 minutes left, I score from a run by Eden Hazard – I receive the ball from Oscar. If I remember correctly, and finished.
“I scored my first goal, I was so happy, it was a proud moment for me and my family. When I went back into the dressing room, I sat down and thought about what happen. Then someone sat down next to me… Eden Hazard, he grabbed me and said, ‘I told you who’s the boss’. I shook his hand and there was nothing to say. He was fantastic.”
